The Main Library will be closed Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr day. Both branches, Main and North, will reopen Tuesday, January 17 at 10:00am.

The Career Coach will be visiting the Main Library Monday, January 23rd and Monday, January 30th.

Also, the reading readiness Every Child Ready to Read program will take place for parents, caregivers, and mentors on Thursday, January 26th @ 5:00pm.

Main Library and Library North will be closed on the 24th, 25th and 26th and closing early on the 31st at 4pm.

Library Closing

The Library will be closed on Friday November 11th an observance of Veteran’s Day. We will also be closed on Thursday November 24th and Friday November 25th for Thanksgiving.

Director Resigns

Library Director, Richard Salmons, has notified the Library that he will be leaving as Director on November 30th. Richard has accepted the Director’s position at Fort McMurray Public Library in Alberta, Canada and will begin there on December the 1st. His last day at the library will be Wednesday November 23rd.

The Tennessee Career Coach will be at the Main Library on Monday October 24th from 10AM to 2 PM. Anyone looking for employment is encouraged to come and take part in this event.
