AARP Tax-Aid Program Info.

Hi everyone, in case you haven’t seen this article in the Jackson Sun, I just wanted to let everyone know about this free tax aid service…AARP Tax-Aid.

This program offers help to taxpayers with low and middle incomes who are 55 or older. According to Bart Bartleson, who is quoted in the Jacskon Sun article “we do not prepare taxes. We help people prepare everything they need in order to file.”  It runs from February 1st through April 15th.  WE DO NOT offer this service at the Jackson Madison County Library.
