40th Anniversary of Moon Landing–July 20, 1969

Today is the 40th Anniversary of the very first time humans walked on the moon.  What an incredible feat to celebrate!

Stop by the library and check out some books about the moon, Neil Armstrong, and the Apollo 11 Crew!  There will be some on display in the children’s area of the Main Library for the next couple of weeks.  Here is some especially good ones for kids, if you click on the image you will be directed to the library catalog.
